In the winter of 3144, a mysterious invasion force laid waste to the Rim Collective military in less than a month.  Few people outside the Periphery took note, and nearly a year passed.

 

Then in the fall of 3145, the identity of the invaders was made known to the Inner Sphere.  Clan Mutant Sea Bass – dissenters from Clan Sea Fox mixed with mercenaries and Dispossessed warriors of many factions – crossed the border into the Lyran Commonwealth and stamped their names in history.

 

This second invasion stalled after five months of heavy fighting, which saw the Sea Bass warriors attack Tharkad itself.  Although they failed to conquer the Steiner capital, they still hold many worlds in Steiner space.  Now the mighty factories of Coventry are being retooled to produce Sea Bass-designed war machines.  Now their proximity to Clans Jade Falcon and Wolf have sparked calls for new Trials.  Now is the time for these newest-formed warriors of Kerensky to make the entire Sphere tremble.  Now is the time of Clan Mutant Sea Bass!
